Today, on 05/03/2025, Taungya PRLC joyously celebrated Farmers’ Field Day in Chigon Mondira Sora, Moidong Union. The event was graced by the presence of the esteemed Chairman of Moidong Union Parishad, Mr. Sadhananda Chakma, local Karbari Mr. Jyotirmoy Chakma, Assistant Agricultural Officer of Jurosori Agricultural Office Mr. Didarul Haq, and Mr. Arun Chan Chakma from the Jurosori Livestock Office.
The enthusiasm of the community members and the members of the Farmers’ Field School was truly heartening. The day commenced with Mr. Sadhananda Chakma’s grand inauguration speech, setting a vibrant tone for the event. Following the inaugural ceremony, the guests and attendees toured various demo learning plots organized by the Farmers’ Field School members. These practical demonstrations allowed the farmers to share their knowledge and experiences, further enhancing their agricultural expertise.
Additionally, on the same day, a visit by Moidong UDCC at Chigon Mondira Sora was successfully conducted. The active participation and collaboration between the community and officials highlighted the significance of such initiatives in fostering a stronger and more self-reliant agricultural community.
The presence of our distinguished guests and the community’s enthusiastic involvement made this event a resounding success. The day emphasizing a commitment to support farmers and encourage more such initiatives for a prosperous agricultural future.
