Resources

Taungya has built strong institutional resources over decades of work in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. It’s **Resource Pool** consists of experienced trainers and experts drawn from both the Executive Council and staff, capable of conducting workshops, seminars, and training sessions at community, union, upazila, district, and even national levels. This pool supports capacity building for local governance leaders, traditional chiefs, teachers, CBOs, and networks.

The organization also maintains a **Development and Fundraising Unit**, led by the Executive Director under the guidance of the Executive Council. This unit specializes in preparing technical and financial proposals for national and international donors, while ensuring quality documentation of projects. It also manages publications, bulletins, video reporting, and website database development, making it a vital engine for Taungya’s sustainability and outreach.

In addition, Taungya has invested in **Volunteerism Development**, nurturing community-based youth volunteer groups across the CHT. These volunteers are trained in facilitation, event management, communication, data collection, and documentation, while also gaining professional skills in finance, office management, and reporting. This network of youth leaders strengthens Taungya’s grassroots presence and ensures that Indigenous communities remain at the center of its initiatives.

Together, these resources enable Taungya to combine technical expertise, community mobilization, and donor engagement, ensuring that its programmes are both impactful and sustainable.
